Duties

As a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM SPECIALIST at the GS-0301-15 some of your typical work assignments may include: Reviews and oversees assigned tasks of complex administrative and technical support involving both civilian and contractor personnel. Assists the Deputy Director and Director in developing and disseminating manpower and enabling financial mandates supporting C2 functions. Evaluates the adequacy and policy compliance of testing activities between Joint C2 capabilities and external Information Technology (IT) systems. Co-chairs the Department's C2 Council of Colonels (CoC) comprised of operational representatives from the Combatant Commands, Services, DoD Agencies, Joint Staff, OSD and mission partners. Advances management and organizational principles and practices along with a comprehensive knowledge of planning, programming, and budgeting regulations, guidelines and process, and thorough knowledge of the military command's facilities planning, acquisition, and management process.

Qualifications

You may qualify at the GS-15, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service: Leading experimentation planning and overseeing necessary supporting Doctrine, Organization, Training, Leadership Awareness, Personnel, Facilities and Policy (DOT_LPF-P) deliverables at all classification levels. Providing early identification, validation, and prioritization of system/capability problem reports and with external organizations. Briefing military, congressional and mission partner senior-level decision makers. In-depth knowledge and expertise in all Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control (CJADC2) and Joint command and control (C2) initiatives and adequately articulate the impacts and effects of such program. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
