Duties

You will perform oversight of requirements definition, research and development, integration, testing, training, production, installation, contracting, budget planning and execution of assigned programs. You will coordinate preparation of program acquisition/integration documentation You will ensure tasks executed/contracts awarded are in accordance with appropriate guidelines You will incorporate industry and government best practices to enhance efficiency and cost effectiveness You will serve as the LBUCS APM in support of the PMW 770 Undersea Integration program office within PEO C4I. You will manage scope, cost, schedule, and performance of more than $45M per year for the Low Band Universal Communications System (LBUCS) and associated programs. You will oversee a geographically-dispersed team of software development, engineering design Agent, capability based in-service engineering agent, mission analysis and software development. You will demonstrate experience with pre-award system development contract activities. You will with manage installation requirements across all submarine classes to include new construction, providing support to operational platforms, identifying issues and increasing cyber readiness.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or DP-2 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience leading a large, geographically-dispersed multidisciplined team in an IPT construct in order to manage the scope, cost, schedule, and performance of more than $45M per year for the Low Band Universal Communications System (LBUCS) and associated programs. Experience with pre-award system development contract activities. Experience with managing installation requirements across all submarine classes to include new construction, providing support to operational platforms, identifying issues and developing corrective solutions, and increasing cyber readiness. . Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
