You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the NWS Acquisition and Operations Branch (SP32) of STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS.
This is a control-pointed position.
Duties
You will lead Nuclear Weapons Surety (NWS) Division efforts for managing development, integration, fielding and sustainment of Counter Uncrewed Aerial Systems (C-UAS).
You will provide strategic oversight of acquisition programmatic elements to include concept design and prototyping, technical design and maturation, supporting the transition, fielding and sustainment of advanced technology programs into INWSS.
You will perform high-level technical assessment and evaluation of Counter-Uncrewed Systems (C-UxS) for potential integration into the Integrated Nuclear Weapon Security System.
You will develop unique supporting justification and provides direct interface to defend Research and Development funding through the entire Navy and DOD planning, programming and budgeting review process.
You will performs complex independent analysis, conducts technical studies, and prepares technical briefings for all facets of the NWS Rapid Insertion/Emerging Capabilities.
You will evaluate rapid insertion/emerging capability policy to ensure SSP and locally generated policies and protocols are effective.
You will manage a team of personnel/high-level working groups dedicated to address developing and evolving threats that requires rapid capability employment at our areas of operations.
You will work on SSP involvement in Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) work assessing technology efficacy and performance.
You will work with senior management to establish the development of new policies, methodologies, and techniques regarding the C-UAS program.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band (NH-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assessing weapons systems programs for threats and vulnerabilities to develop innovative plans/policies, methods, and techniques to support streamlined integration and sustainment for program effectiveness.
