As a Supervisory Architect, you will be responsible for the oversight of strategic programming, portfolio and project delivery of the capital improvement design and construction program; leading the Workplace & Special Projects Branch in the Design & Construction Division and may serve as the Regional Workplace Executive.
Location of position: Public Buildings Service, San Francisco, CA

The GS-14 salary range starts at $152,105.00 per year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. BASIC REQUIREMENTS FOR ARCHITECTS: A Degree in architecture or related field; OR a combination of college-level education, training, and/or technical experience. In addition to the Basic Requirements, all candidates must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as professional architecture experience in the design of construction or alteration projects involving large and complex buildings or major building systems as well as coordinating the activities of multidisciplinary teams on such project. Experience must include planning, prioritizing, and evaluating work to be accomplished by subordinates; and providing advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters
