As a Supervisory Architect, you will be responsible for the oversight of strategic programming, portfolio and project delivery of the capital improvement design and construction program; leading the Workplace & Special Projects Branch in the Design & Construction Division and may serve as the Regional Workplace Executive. Location of position: Public Buildings Service, San Francisco, CA We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

For specifics on qualifying education, training, and/or experience - use the following link: Basic Requirements for Architect Positions.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:  In addition to the Basic Requirements, all candidates must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as professional architecture experience in the design of construction or alteration projects involving large and complex buildings or major building systems as well as coordinating the activities of multidisciplinary teams on such project. Experience must include planning, prioritizing, and evaluating work to be accomplished by subordinates; and providing advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters. This position has a positive education requirement: Applicants must submit a copy of their college or university transcript(s) and certificates by the closing date of announcements to verify qualifications. If selected, an official transcript will be required prior to appointment.
