This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Division of Business Systems. As a Supervisory Financial Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for day-to-day Debt Financing systems operations, support, maintenance, and enhancement.
Duties
As a Supervisory Financial Systems Analyst, you will:
Manage the work of a branch as assigned, which may consist of subordinate supervisors, team leads, and analysts.
Recommend, review, and reject or approve requests for promotions, reassignments, awards, within grade increases, overtime, etc.
Actively participate in Division, Bureau, Agency, Federal Reserve Banks (FRBs), and Market participant meetings to exchange information, resolve problems, and interpret broad changes in regulations and policies.
Develop Branch goals and objectives, independently or jointly with higher management, in accordance with an objective setting program and monitor progress toward meeting those goals. Lead and evaluate long-range planning for the Branch.
Qualifications

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position must include all of the following:
- Supporting and maintaining Processing Systems or other securities holding systems (For example Treasury Automated Auction Processing System (TAAPS); AND
- Experience analyzing and developing solutions to enhance organizational, process, and operational efficiencies in an automated environment; AND
- Gathering requirements and conducting system testing; AND
- Coordinating, leading, and prioritizing work for subordinate employees.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks.
