You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the Expeditionary Missions Program Office (PMS 408) of Program Executive Office Unmanned and Small Combatants (PEO USC).
Duties
You will execute Joint Explosive Ordnance Disposal (JEOD) Modernization efforts as well as manage sustainment of JEOD configured items.
You will plan and execute Research, Development, Test Evaluation (RDTE) funding for Joint EOD technology development, Operations and Maintenance (OMN) funding for capabilities, sustainment, and procurement fundings for the Navy.
You will interface with various stakeholders to include Office of Naval Research/Lab, Joint Science and Technology stakeholders, Academia, Warfare Centers, Industry/Contractors, Technical Warrant Holders, and Functional Area Managers.
You will manage cost, schedule and performance to deliver various Explosive Ordnance Disposal capabilities across various technical disciplines working through NEPS to plan and adjust mend tasking for different appropriations.
You will lead a diverse team of Government, ST, Academia, Industry and operational stakeholders to manage project execution and plan life cycle strategies and teams for technologies programs of the acquisition life cycle.
You will be responsible for tasking two Deputy Assistant Program Managers (DAPM) and a support contractor staff to support and assist their portfolio tasking to ensure timely execution of tasking.
You will provide status briefs to the Program Manager, JEOD Program Board, Military Technical Acceptance Board, EOD Executive Manager, and Joint service Acquisition, Operational, and ST stakeholders etc. on various efforts.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-03 (GS-13 Equivalent), grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: "managing program or project requirements (e.g. cost, schedules, performance, etc.) to execute acquisition programs and deliver capability to warfighter ships."
