This position is located in Immigration Records and Identity Services, National Records Center, National Records Center Executive Staff, Immigration Information Integrity Branch, Information Management Liaison Section.
As a Supervisory Immigration Services Analyst, you will oversee a team of analysts performing a wide variety of duties related to the analysis of immigration benefit and enforcement actions.
Duties
Serve as a subject matter expert on USCIS law and DHS policies and procedures as they relate to immigration; facilitate and/or conduct training to subordinate staff on standardized procedures and processes related to their duties.
Provide technical and administrative supervision to the unit; establish and carry out specific action plans for accomplishing short-term goals and objectives.
Prepare performance work plans and appraisals; establish unit objectives, goals, priorities and deadlines, and formulate plans to address substantial changes in workload; adjust work schedules to meet priorities and achieve mission requirements.
Allocate available assets to meet workload demands effectively. Plan and implement action plans for accomplishing short-term and long-term goals.
Carry out EEO policies and program activities, employee discipline, resolve complaints and grievances not requiring referral to higher authority and recommend solutions for those referred to higher organizational levels.

Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 10/02/2024.
GS-13: You qualify at the GS-13 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties:
Provide technical and administrative supervision to a staff engaged in releasing sensitive immigration information to stakeholders.
Develop and maintain employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage to meet constantly changing demands of the workload.
Coach, motivate, lead and/or scheduling work of team members to achieve the organization or department's objectives.
Plan and implement action plans for accomplishing short-term and long-term goals.
Coordinate with others to interpret administrative policies, offer advice, and recommend options for solving a problem.
