This position is located at the NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER. As an Supervisory Immigration Services Analyst (Section Chief), you will serve as a second line manager for a group of personnel who are responsible for assessing the productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency of NBC programs through a variety of programs that may include data analysis, quality assurance, process analysis and adjudications and other training programs..

Duties

Ensure the effective operation of all Analysis and Integrity Division (AID) functions within the boundaries of the assigned NBC AID section. Manage and oversee teams who perform data analysis, process analysis, quality assurance and training programs, activities and operations. Provide technical and administrative supervision to the unit; establish and carry out plans for accomplishing short-term goals and objectives; develop and prescribe procedures and techniques and furnish policy guidance to subordinates. Coordinate with other unit supervisors and peers to take final action on matters involving the processing of adjudications files through AID.

Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. GS-14: You qualify at the GS-14 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties: Providing technical and administrative supervision to a staff of analysts engaged in programs administering the data analysis and quality assurance functions. Coordinating and directing the accomplishment of difficult and diverse functions or issues Analyzing and implementing issues related to the establishment of program goals and objectives. Establishing long-range work plans and determining the actions necessary to accomplish these objectives.
