About the Position: Serves as program analyst environmental data systems specialist with responsibility for program management world-wide for the HQ Installation Management Command (IMCOM), G-4, Environmental Division, Resourcing and Planning Branch data systems reporting and program management, located in San Antonio, TX.
Duties
Responsible for leading the fielding, operation, data quality, and data analysis of Army enterprise environmental reporting systems.
Responsible for environmental financial and performance program analysis, HQ/central workplan, program monitoring/management reviews, and environmental funding requirements and allocation.
Serves as the environmental primary installation point of contract for multiple IMCOM installations.
Responsible for facilitating and tracking IMCOM-wide goals and strategies for all installations to be increasingly successful.
Expert knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods plus a thorough understanding of the material acquisition process and comprehensive knowledge of the goals, objectives, and structure of multi and joint services engineering development programs.
Evaluates programs for aspects that may significantly affect Army-wide alignment of budget, management and technical responsibilities of the engineering programs.
Ensure program strategy and cooperative agreements are valid, realistic and in compliance with joint service technology development and engineering standards.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience managing environmental programs to develop, appraise, and extend environmental policies to new and unprecedented studies, preparing management advisory on such studies; experience providing policy and guidance to government facilities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-???????12).
