About the Position: You will be responsible for managing the efficient and effective coordination and accomplishment of the planning, scope, design, construction, and direction of military, environmental, and civil works projects.
Duties
Serve as Project Manager, responsible for the overall management, control, coordination, and execution of assigned programs and projects.
Coordinate the planning, design, cost engineering, construction, and environmental considerations for very complex projects measured by their diversity, geographical area, management demands, technical and public/regulatory issues.
Control and manage project milestones and budgets from project development (programming) through construction completion.
Responsible for the development of all required customer and USACE agreements, leading the negotiation of such agreements on the part of USACE.
Oversee projects such as aviation support facilities and infrastructure, utility systems, training, and operations facilities, personnel barracks, civil works, industrial and manufacturing facilities, roads, and other associated infrastructure.
Forecast schedule, budget, manpower, or quality problems and ensure proper resolution of contracting issues raised.
Requirements

- The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
- This position requires the employee to use personal protective equipment provided by the employer.
- This position requires prolonged standing.
- You will be required to work outside for site visit.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes:
Managing environmental, military, civil works or other construction/facilities related projects;
Coordinating with multiple parties to ensure execution of assigned projects;
Managing project milestones and budgets from project development (programming) through construction completion.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
