You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the 2ND MARINES SPECIAL OPS BATALLION of USMC FORCES SPECIAL OPERATIONS CMD.
Duties
You will be primarily concerned with the application of security policy, procedures, systems, and programs involving the loyalty and reliability of people.
You will review and evaluate reports of investigations, personnel files to and other records to determine to make decisions on security clearance matters.
You will establish and administer the Continuous Evaluation Program (CEP).
Your duties include implementing, and monitoring policies, instructions, procedures, control systems, and methods for functions and activities pertaining information security.
You will have knowledge of state-of-art in electronic and intrusion detection systems and devices, safes and other storage containers, locks and locking systems, among other security related measures.
You will ensure an effective INFOSEC program while working with IAM.
Requirements

- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret with SCI security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyze and evaluate the security operation programs (e.g. Personnel, Information, and Industrial) to assess the overall risk management; organize, develop, and integrate an Anti-terrorism training program; obtain and implement new policies and procedures to manage the overall security program; and interface with a diverse group (e.g. intelligence and security agencies) to resolve high risk security issues.. .

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
