Duties
You will serve as the NAVWAR Safety and Environmental Program Manager.
You will ensure that all program objectives and resources are available to achieve the expected results.
You will be responsible for independently planning and completing the program requirements and resolving any difficult
You will participate as the technical authority for planning, developing, organizing, administering, evaluating, coordinating and implementing a comprehensive
safety and occupational health/environmental program.
You will lead or participate as Safety and Occupational Health and Environmental SME member of a survey or inspection team.
You will provide instruction to work leaders and employees covering a variety of standard, general safety and occupational health subjects including mishap
prevention and safe working practices.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning and conducting inspections for a safety and occupational health program to evaluate current safety procedures and develop recommendations that aim to eliminate environmental accidents, mishaps, and potential hazards.
