This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Professional Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA Global Field Command, Infrastructure and Services Division (RN441), Scott AFB, IL.
Duties
Serves as a subject matter expert and maintains all current skills and expertise associated with telecommunication policies and procedures and associated government provided tools.
Provides technical and administrative oversight support to contractor personnel by addressing external dependencies that impact the contractor’s ability to successfully execute the deliverables of the contract.
Tracks escalation data and performs analysis of the data to identify trends and systemic issues and works to resolve such issues to minimize contract disputes related to the request fulfillment (RF) process.
Provides administrative support to multiple Contracting Officers Representatives (CORs) and Alternate CORs across multiple task orders/contracts.
Provides technical support of acquisitions, to include determining technical sufficiency of procurement packages, translation of technical requirements into contractual terms, technical interpretation of correspondence and documentation.
Serves as a Quality Control Representative and utilizes enterprise standard metrics tools to validate the performance of contractors as outlined in the contract Acceptable Level of Performance.

Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.
Qualifying Experience: To qualify at the GG-12, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience in telecommunications services; providing oversight to contractor personnel to facilitate customer activations; and review and validate contract deliverables and target areas for process improvement.
