Duties

Analyzes functional and technical requirements of proposed or existing IT systems for development or modifications changes. Identifies how system modifications or new systems or subsystems affect current systems; prepares cost analysis; establishes target completion dates; and prioritizes proposed system changes or developments. Prepares and executes tests for system or subsystem software validation. Reviews production operations to identify, diagnose, and correct production-processing problems. Prepares design documents and participates in critical design reviews to study and verify impacts on current systems.

Specialized experience is defined as: Developing, participating, and testing system requirement reviews, and systems or subsystems software; identifying, diagnosing, and correcting production-processing problems; and using programming languages such as LINUX, PL/SQL, Oracle APEX, Python, or equivalent to make input and output instructions to modify systems and software failures. Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment.
