Duties

Develop and integrate innovative approaches to attain goals and minimize expenditures. Brief and interact with senior military and civilian leaders to explain, advocate and express facts and ideas on logistics issues. Ensures successful customer support, coordination, and communication with supported units, including scheduling and execution to find ways to improve production and/or quality. Manage personnel engaged in directing, developing and/or implementing logistics policies, processes, initiatives and/or programs for major, highly complex weapon systems acquisition and sustainment functions in the areas of logistics support. Develop and execute plans and strategies to lead people in maximizing their potential to meet the organization’s mission, goals, and objectives

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the selectee to possess or obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
• This position requires the incumbent to travel away from the duty station up to 25% of the time.
• This position requires the employee to sign a mobility agreement under the provisions of the agency mobility program.
• This position requires a one year supervisory probationary period unless previously completed.
• This position requires a written agreement to remain in this position for a minimum of three years.
• This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics certification within 48 months as of entrance on duty.
• This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
