You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the Program Executive Office Unmanned and Small Combatants, Unmanned Maritime Systems Program Office (PMS 406) of PEO UNMANNED AND SMALL COMBATANTS. You will as the Autonomy and Rapid Autonomy Integration Lab (RAIL) Assistant Program Manager (APM) supporting the Program Manager (PM) in the development and execution of Autonomy and associated infrastructure efforts across the PMS406 UxV Programs.
Duties
You will oversee the complete lifecycle of UxV autonomy, from development and acquisition to testing, delivery, and ongoing support, ensuring alignment with Fleet operational requirements within approved cost, schedule, and performance constraints.
You will assist in developing comprehensive program plans for UxV PORs, including definitive task statements, basis of estimates, resource requirements, and integrated master schedules.
You will lead the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution phases of autonomy and RAIL efforts.
You will coordinate the submission and alignment of Budget Estimate Submission (BES) and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) documents.
You will provide technical and fiscal oversight of multiple contractors and Government laboratories involved in autonomy and associated infrastructure projects.
You will manage competitive contract development, implementation, and performance management.
You will develop and maintain multi-year budget profiles, ensuring accurate and timely financial execution.
You will develop, analyze, and manage engineering and program management documents to support autonomy and RAIL initiatives.
You will Implement and maintain best practices in software development methodologies and tools relevant to RAIL infrastructure.
You will oversee the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery of software updates.
You will ensure availability and functionality of software tools required for efficient development, testing, and integration of autonomy solutions.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the pay band NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading the development or implementation of acquisition strategies (e.g., financial, programmatic, technical, contractual) for Unmanned Undersea Vehicles, subsystems or components.
