This position is part of the Office of Manufacturing and Energy Management Supply Chain, Department of Energy. As a Management and Program Analyst, you will be performing designated Contracting Officer Representative duties for assigned contracts.

- This position requires Contracting Officer Representative (COR) Level III certification.
Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-13 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting ALL of the following:
Serve as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for assigned contracts, adhering to the Federal Acquisition Regulations and other regulations or policies and procedures, in order to ensure the contract requirements are met.
Develop and present informative and persuasive recommendations, briefings, or presentations to a variety of audience levels.
Manage and/or provide accurate contract budgets, funding, and expenditure information for assigned contracts.
2 years of previous COR experience required. The requirements for experience are generally based upon the Contracting Officer's Representatives Qualifications. Experience may be time spent on the job in a Contracting Officer's Representative related job assignment, either in the private or public sector, which reflects the accumulation of knowledge, skills and abilities during years of progressively responsible work assignments. There is no exception to the experience requirements and candidates must provide evidence of their experience to their certifying official. Satisfaction of experience requirements from one certification level may be applied to the satisfaction of experience requirements of a higher certification level.

Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
