This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Program Integrity (CPI), Data Analytics & Services Group (DASG), Division of Provider Systems Management (DPSM). As an Information Technology Specialist (Systems Analysis), GS-2210-14, you will serve as an Information Technology Specialist providing speciality in the development and anlaysis of technical information over advanced systems, data, and programs.

Duties

Function as the principal IT Specialist for all division projects, products, and services associated with program integrity data analytics. Plan, coordinate, and perform systems design and development of a major IT functional area, which may include providing direction to lower-level staff and/or contract personnel. Make recommendations on new application development concepts, techniques and tools could be applied to modernize IT systems. Serve as the primary point of contact for division communications related to assigned work and issues that span multiple projects, products, and services associated with program integrity data analytics.

In order to qualify for the GS-14 , you must meet the following: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector, to include: Leading Information Technology (IT) projects to deliver IT products, services, or systems using Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) or Agile methodologies; AND Assessing IT projects or systems to ensure effective implementation of system changes and improvements; AND Collaborating with internal or external stakeholders on implementing enhancements to modernize IT projects using expertise of IT principles, methods, advancements, or systems concepts; AND Writing IT related standard operating procedures, initiatives, requirements, and/or Statements of Work/Objectives.
