You will serve as a AIRCRAFT EXAMINER (ELECTRONICS MECHANIC) in the MRO PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT, PRODUCTION LINES DEPARTMENT of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.

Duties

You will work independently, make decisions, plan operations, show job responsibility, and exercise initiative. You will accept or reject items for conformance with requirements and to work productively in an inspection program You will to use a variety of equipment from simple voltmeters and ohmmeters to the difficult types such as oscilloscopes and synchroscopes. You will assemble, make, install, test, repair, etc.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications

Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the job elements and screen out listed below. This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: Ability to Provide Production Support Services: 1) Reviewing historical maintenance data, SRC, EHR, ETM Technical Directives, MAF's and component configuration records, to determine repair requirements. 2) Determining, authorizing and controlling the extent of disassembly, and depth of rework. 3) Creating tailoring and validating component repair work orders are correct and in compliance of all technical repair maintenance manuals, and technical directives. 4) Examining inducted components and preparing discrepancy reports necessary to restore them to their required condition and configuration for return to service. 5) Troubleshooting and problem solving, utilizing knowledge of functional check and test procedures of various components, systems and accessories.
