This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, US Coast Guard, Yard, Industrial Department in Baltimore, MD.

Duties

You will be planning and estimating tasks for the marine industry trades (Pipefitter) by identifying labor, materials, activity durations, and equipment to accomplish a wide variety of repair, construction and renovation projects in the Industrial Department.Being a civilian working for the Coast Guard makes you a valuable member of the team.  Typical duties include:

Qualifications

Applicants will be evaluated on their ability to perform the duties of the position rather than the length of experience. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
