About the Position: Position located at US Army Cadet Command, Headquarters, G1, Soldier and Family Program, Fort Knox, KY

Duties

Coordinate or carrying out a variety of social services type programs. Serve as a point-of-contact between the organization and the soldier's family members. Coordinate Leased Government Housing as Command point of contact. Assist with planning and implementation of Agency Substance Abuse Program. Serve as Social Media Manager for Soldier and Family Program mission.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed Secret background investigation.
• This position requires that the employee occasionally travel away from the normal duty station up to 25% of the time.
• May be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include overtime, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
• One year trial period may be required.

Basic Education Requirements:

Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position. (TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE ATTACHED)

Combination of education and experience -- that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. (TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE ATTACHED)
OR
Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.OR3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
