This position is located within the Aviation Safety, Flight Standards Service, Foundational Business, Mission Services Division, Flight, Standards Programs Branch (FB140).The Program Analyst will provide support and assistance to the FAA Aviation Safety Inspector Credential Program (110A Program). This program provides inspectors with a credential and numbered badge that is universally recognized by both internal and external customers.
Duties
Performs multiple, varying, and complex administrative assignments under the minimal direction of a manager, program manager, team lead, or more experienced professional. Provides analytical support to Program Managers and applies experience and comprehensive knowledge of administrative programs, services, and FAA's policies and objectives to identify, define, and organize resources for the program(s) supported. Assignments require working and collaborating across functional and/or organization lines.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).
- Appointee will be expected to report to an FAA Flight Standards/AVS Facility.

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience includes:Experience gathering, analyzing, and evaluating information from various sources to provide recommendations for decision making and to track compliance with policies and regulations.Experience applying directives, regulations, and procedures to carry out administrative and/or operational assignments.
