The incumbent will serve as an Information Technology Specialist within the Office of Accident Investigation and Prevention (AVP).
Duties
The Information Technology (IT) Program Manager provides leadership for short-term and long-term complex and challenging IT programs supporting the Office of Accident Investigation and Prevention (AVP) under minimal guidance of the manager. Serves as a senior technical expert and consultant to top agency management officials to providing guidance on integrating IT programs with other programs of equivalent scope and complexity. Identifies and resolves highly complex problems or issues which often cross organizational boundaries and impact on the accomplishment of Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) strategic objectives.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience is: Experience creating and managing databases to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of data provided.
