The position is located in the Office of Civil Rights (ACR). The incumbent serves as an Equal Opportunity Specialist on the Civil Rights Staff, and is responsible for administering and implementing internal programs to ensure Civil Rights and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) regulations and objectives are met.

General experience could have been gained in administrative, professional, technical, investigative, or other responsible work. Experience in substantive and relevant secretarial, clerical, or other responsible area may be qualifying as long as it provided evidence of the knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) necessary to perform the duties of this position.OR Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor’s degree, gained from an accredited college or university. To qualify based on education, you must submit a copy of your college transcripts. If selected, official transcripts will be required prior to employment.To qualify for this position at the FV-G level you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-F, FG/GS-5-9. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized Experience is: Experience applying Federal EEO laws, regulations, policies, and procedures related to EEO Programs, while making recommendations to aide in resolving concerns.ORPh.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.OR3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree.Applicants should include examples of specialized experience in their work history.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.Interviews: Some, all or none of the applicants may be interviewed.Selection may be made from this announcement or from ACT-ACR-24-ACT009-92346.
