This position is located in the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OFCO), Strategic Planning and Performance Division.
Duties
Collects, researches, analyzes, interprets, and writes reports incorporating data, qualitative evidence, and narrative information.
After conducting a variety of management studies and program analyses, recommends actions to be taken to achieve increased effectiveness and efficiency of functions.
Reviews Notices of Funding Opportunities (NOFOs) for applicability of performance measures to NOFO goals and objectives of program offices.
Maintains currency with federal best practices by attending Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Performance Improvement Council meetings, workshops, and trainings.
Leads projects with division contractors for analytical support.
Maintains SharePoint lists that track office measures and metadata.
Maintains standard operating procedures and authors new ones when relevant.
Provides technical assistance and expertise on strategic planning, performance management, and measurement development for an array of audiences.

Qualifications
Specialized Experience:
Applicants must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level. Specialized experience is experience which is in or related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
Examples of specialized experience include:
Providing technical assistance and expertise on strategic planning, performance management, program design, measurement development, and data-driven decision making for federal audiences AND
Conducting a variety of management studies and numerical analyses to prepare, produce, and present detailed programmatic performance management findings to leadership to inform policy decisions AND
Completing qualitative and quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of program effectiveness.
