You will serve as a ELECTRICIAN in the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Facilities Sustainment Division of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND HAWAII.

Duties

You will install, repair, maintain, troubleshoot, test, and load new and existing electrical lines, circuits, system, and associated fixtures. You will plan and lay out the work, tracing hard-to-locate defects, problems, and completes repairs and installations. You will perform installation and repair of electrical systems such as primary and secondary utility services. You will work from maintenance and repair manuals to plan and lay out the routing and safe operation of electrical systems.

• Incumbent must be able to become CPR certified.
• May be required to obtain and maintain current licenses to operate Folk Lift, High Lift (JLG), Bucket Truck and/or construction equipment.
• You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• May be subject to recall and/or work nights, weekends, and holiday.

I work under close supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.
