Duties
Serves as the manager for the Warrior Zone and may serve in a dual capacity as Recreation Delivery Program Team leader.
Develops, manages, plans and administers recreation activities programs to support eligible personnel for Warrior Zone activities.
Directs, develops and administers plans and procedures to meet the leisure needs of the Soldiers.
Develops Standard Operating Procedures. Prepares program Memorandum of Instructions for upcoming programs.
Plans and coordinates training for staff. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Work requires the use of physical exertion when preparing for and overseeing events. Must be able to lift and carry light to moderately heavy items.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
1. Directly related work experience that provided the applicant the ability, knowledge, skills, principles, methods and techniques to plan, organize, coordinate, supervise and evaluate a recreational program
Highly Preferred Criteria:
1. Six months or more BOSS experience
2. One year or more of Warrior Zone supervisory experience
