About the Position: Logistics Management Specialist position with the US Army Aviation and Missile Command, AMCOM Logistics Center located on Redstone Arsenal, AL

Duties

Demonstrate weapon systems life cycle management concepts used to plan, develop, implement, operate and maintain the integrated logistical support of the system. Utilize principle methods for developing, scheduling, coordinating, monitoring and managing projects with resources, including technical performance readiness. Identify and analyze problems using sound reasoning to arrive at conclusions while finding alternative solutions to complex problems to make informed decisions. Prepare written justifications and impact statements and presents them for inclusion in system funding documents. Monitor logistics functions, to include the development of New Equipment Training (NET) course requirements and course management.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires employee to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
• This is an Acquisition Position and requires incumbent to obtain a Foundational certification in Acquisition Career Field - Life Cycle Logistics within 24 months of entrance on duty.
• This position requires incumbent to travel up to 50% of the time.
