About the Position: This position is with IMCOM, USAG Fort Huachuca, Directorate of Human Resources, Military Personnel Division located in Fort Huachuca, AZ.
Duties
Provides advice, assistance, and guidance and performs a wide range of recurring personnel transactions such as assignments, reassignments, details, transfers, etc. affecting enlisted, warrant, commissioned officers and their family members.
Performs procedural and substantive Human Resource (HR) assistant and clerical duties associated with services necessary for the PCS travel to locations in the Continental United Stated (CONUS) and outside (OCONUS) in connection with official orders.
Monitors and processes eMILPO transactions generated by unit/battalion/brigade and Directorate of Human Resources (DHR).
Conducts Officer and Enlisted in/out-processing.
Independently performs a wide range of recurring personnel transactions for voluntary and involuntary officer and enlisted separations such as release from active duty (REFRAD), resignations, retirements, etc.
Serves as a final reviewer of eligibility or entitlement determinations on various personnel action requests submitted by lower level clerks.
Interprets laws, rules, regulations, directives, decisions, and policies applicable to the ID Cards, DEERS/RAPIDS Section.
Operates a variety of electronic systems comprised of hardware and software components capable of storing, retrieving, manipulating, transferring, computing, and printing information.
Requirements

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience processing military personnel actions, passports, and transition services; preparing written correspondence; tracking reports; and providing customer service both one-on-one and group trainings or briefings. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
