About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25.
Duties
Support HQ, NETCOM and HHC, NETCOM in carrying out a wide variety of administrative and technical personnel requirements.
Complete a variety of personnel actions requiring substantial knowledge of the characteristics, requirements, and procedures of U. S. Army personnel programs and operations.
Respond to complaints and inquiries, researches facts and appropriate regulations and policies, and provides detailed explanations to resolve issues.
Answer questions and prepares reports as needed.
Review and update records as required for all Soldiers on record management systems.
Aid the in-processing and out-processing for personnel arriving or departing the unit.
Assist in developing and administering military award and recognition programs.
Manage unit and individual training; ensures students meet pre-requisites for course enrollment.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Incumbent must be able to acquire and maintain a SECRET clearance.
