You will serve as a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist for the Small Business Administration (SBA), Office of Capital Access (OCA), Disaster Lending Division (DLD) in Washington, DC. This position will oversee the subordinate supervisors, non-supervisory staff and contractors.

Duties
As a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist at the GS-2210-15, some of your typical work assignments may include:
Serves as senior financial & program - subject matter expert for SBA's Capital Access Financial Systems (CAFS) which supports the agency's trillion-dollar disaster and guaranty loan portfolio.
Responsible for defining and monitoring performance metrics for OCA and provides recommendations for process, systems and quantitative and qualitative factors.
Managing risk-based information security, data security, and cybersecurity programs within Federal guidelines and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards.
Oversees the daily operation of the team, ensures that agency policies and priorities are being followed; develops performance standards; and evaluates work performance of subordinates.
Serves as a point of contact for the agency with OCA Lending Partners and Vendor Associates concerning the interaction with OCA financial assistance business applications; addresses Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) and IT audit findings; and represents and speaks for the OCA in conferences and meetings with Agency program officials, other agency officials, private sector lender or financial services organizations and national professional groups regarding complex system issues impact on OCA and its customers.

Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- You must be able to obtain and maintain a Government travel credit card.

- You must meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date, if applicable.
- A one-year supervisory/managerial probationary period may be required.
- You may be required to complete a one-year probationary period for non-supervisors if you fail to complete the one-year supervisory/managerial probationary period.
- This position is not included in a bargaining unit.
Qualifications
All qualification requirements must be met by 11:59 pm (Eastern Time) on 09/20/2024.
TIME-IN-GRADE: If you are a current career or career-conditional federal employee applying for promotion under Merit Promotion you must have completed a minimum of 52 weeks in positions at the next level lower than the position being filled.
Experience:
To receive credit, you must indicate the month and year as well as the average hours worked per week for each employer. Average work hours must be stated on the resume to quantify each period of work experience or that experience will not be credited toward meeting the specialized experience requirement.
You must address the specific specialized experience required for each grade level of this position on your resume or application or you will be rated "Ineligible" for that grade level.
GS-15: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector:
Overseeing or managing an IT financial or loan system to include developing policies, procedures and/or standards for its efficient operation; AND
Leading or supervising a diverse staff in the day-to-day operations of an organization or office to achieve goals and objectives and making decisions on workload distribution and/or staffing requirements; AND
Communicating orally and in writing with other agencies or organizations outside the Government to assess their needs, provide or obtain information or assistance, and improve relationships.
