This vacancy is for a GS - 0343 - 14, Management and Program Analyst located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, TMX PROGRAM INTEGRATION OFFICE.
This is a term appointment not to exceed 12/31/2027.
Duties
You will serve as a Management and Program Analyst and be responsible for planning, administering, evaluating complex and critical administrative operations programs and programs of the agency to ensure overall effectiveness and efficiency of programs, operations, organizations, and agency functions for Talent Management Transformation.
Qualifications
To qualify at the GS-14 grade level, applicants must have one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience includes the following:
Reviewing organizational structure to assess if the organization is structured to effectively achieve stated goals.
Evaluating the effectiveness of short and long-range planning and various programs designed to meet organizational goals and objectives.
Assessing alternative approaches to resolving issues and applying mastery knowledge of a wide range of analytical methods to assess and evaluate the status, effectiveness, and efficiency of programs.
Planning and carrying out projects to provide comprehensive management-related services on a variety of complex interrelated issues. Researching and interpreting federal laws and regulations, policies and procedures.
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
NOTE: Education cannot be substituted for experience at this grade level.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
The Office of Personnel management (OPM) must authorize employment offers made to current or former political appointees.
