This position is part of the Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management - Headquarters, Department of Energy. As a Management and Program Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing energy market data and trends, and policies pertinent to carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS). The ideal candidate possesses the ability to support international efforts under bilateral and multi-lateral agreements coordinated by the Engagement Division.

Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-13 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting ALL of the following:
Building partnerships and leading engagement with stakeholders.
Managing bilateral and multilateral technical collaboration with other countries.
Developing and executing methods used to gather, analyze and evaluate information concerning clean energy programs, carbon management technologies, or energy industrial practices.
Providing interpretations and recommendations to senior officials based on research, analyses and studies.

Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
