You will serve as a PUBLIC AFFAIRS SPECIALIST of NAVSUP BUSINESS SYSTEMS CENTER OMN.
Duties
You will analyze programs and identify the characteristics of target audiences and determining the most effective communication techniques to use in reaching them.
You will prepare written reports, prepare briefings and gain the cooperation of others.
You will understand and follow complex oral and written instructions.
You will establish and maintain relationships with key individuals/groups outside the immediate work unit.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing written and electronic communication materials concerning a wide range of subjects and significant or complex issues related to Command programs; 2) Making oral presentations to various internal and external audiences to explain programs, projects, and activities; 3) Directing and developing innovative approaches or methods in resolving complex or sensitive problems to enhance quality of services to a variety of special events or ceremonies that require proper protocol; 4) Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with a variety of public entities, including local, national, international, trade and defense news media representatives; federal, state, and local government officials; Command managers and employees; and key community and business leaders.
