Incumbent serves as a Management and Program Analyst in the FAA Logistics Center.

Duties

Performs multiple, varying, and complex assignments under the minimal direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. May act as a contributing specialist on large work activities or as a project manager or team leader for large projects/ programs/activities. Explains, justifies, and discusses a variety of issues. Compiles narrative and statistical material and prepares findings, exhibits and related background information for use by management.

Requirements

• US Citizenship is required.
• Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
• Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).
• One year probationary period may be required.
• Successful completion of security investigation may be required.

Qualifications

To qualify at the FV-I (GS/FG 13) level you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-H (GS/GS 12) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.Specialized Experience includes: Plan, provide and design quality improvement initiatives; Implement, test and maintain an automated based Quality Management System {QMS); Identify, analyze, and recommend solutions for complex/difficult problems; identifying improvements to systems and processes; conduct internal audits; experience implementing ISO 9001; experience with document control, data collection and reporting.Applicants should provide examples of Specialized Experience in their Work History.
