About the Position: Technical expert applying knowledge of tactical, operational, and strategic logistics, as well as data, analytics, and information management for the U.S. Army Materiel Command (AMC), Organic Industrial Base Modernization Task Force.
Duties
Develop and execute strategic planning and reengineering functions that are multi-disciplined and cross Command boundaries.
Use quantitative analysis to identify and recommend solutions to command issues.
Evaluate the effectiveness of data management policies, program and operations, missions and functions, and workload.
Coordinate key personnel in accomplishing integration mission.
Consult with leadership/subject matter experts to collect, collate, analyze programs and operations data.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Secret security clearance.
- Acquisition certification, Life Cycle Logistics, Advanced level, within 4 years of job entry.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Researching and providing solutions to complex and precedent setting logistics issues submitted by subordinate organizations; 2) Evaluating a logistics management program to ensure goals, milestones, and objectives are met by subordinate organizations; 3) Identifying resource requirements for a program's logistics strategy and support programs; and 4) Analyzing system and equipment performance data to resolve technical or procedural deficiencies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
