Duties
As a/an Supervisory IT Specialist, you will:
Oversee the planning, facilitation, and collaboration between the CRPM Division Directors to clearly identify and prioritize needs, formulate plans, and execute results driven strategies that positively impact CRPM's services and HUD's operations
Provide programmatic support to program areas, resolve IT programs/projects, and program area mission requirements and issues satisfied through IT solutions and consultation
Implement IT measures, such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems, to protect the organization's IT infrastructure from cyber threats
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience: For the GS-15 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with groups interested in or affected by programs or policies; AND
- Managing an Information Technology team responsible for developing, planning, and implementing modern technology; AND
- Analyzing program materials and offering recommendations for improving the delivery of program information to affected individuals and/or groups.
Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-15 you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks.
Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.
