You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST (SUSTAINABILITY) of ASN EI-E WASHINGTON DC.

Duties

You will conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for improving sustainability practices. You will promote sustainability initiatives and gathers feedback by engaging with employees, suppliers, customers, and the community. You will develop and deliver training programs to educate employees about sustainability practices, to establish a culture of sustainability within the organization through awareness campaigns and engagement activities. You will identify and implements innovative solutions to enhance the organization's sustainability efforts.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience determining the effectiveness and efficiency of DON's sustainability initiatives and projects (projects such as greenhouse gas (GHG), energy, renewable energy, water, climate resilience, adaptation, and sustainability). Experience recommending recommends changes and guidance to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of regional sustainability portfolios, projects, and operations. Experience identifying and implementing innovative solutions to enhance the organization's sustainability efforts, and continually evaluates and improves sustainability programs to ensure their effectiveness and relevance.
