Specialized Experienceis experience that has equipped applicants with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, the next lower grade level is a GS-14.
Specialized experience for this position includes:
Experience in acquiring and utilizing necessary skills and resources on behalf of an organization, within established parameters relating to cost, time, and quality.
Experience in developing and maintaining an organization's web-based products, including Internet and Intranet pages.
Experience in serving as the individual primarily responsible for the day-to-day support management of IT operational functions, including troubleshooting, user support, and system performance monitoring.
Experience in managing projects to keep an organization's IT systems current through the implementation of new systems or system upgrades.
Experience in supervising and overseeing the work and day-to-day activities of staff, including: developing and modifying performance standards, evaluating/appraising work performance, recommending training and awards, effecting corrective disciplinary actions, assigning work, and carrying out Equal Employment Opportunity policies and program activities.
