Duties

This position is located under the Office of Management, Property & Logistics Division, Real Property Branch, located in Huntsville, Alabama. Incumbent serves as chief advisor on all facility management issues pertaining to ATF facilities associated with the National Center for Explosives Training and Research (NCETR) at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama as well as other facilities located elsewhere throughout the United States. To qualify for a 14, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-13.. Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume. Specialized Experience is: Overseeing a team of contractors; AND Managing projects relating to building/facility operations; AND Applying new or modified legislation, regulations or laws impacting building management; AND Planning and analyzing requirements for space alterations, changes to office design and/or décor.
