Duties

This position is located under the in the Office of Management, Property Acquisitions and Safety Division, Facilities Managment Branch, Building Operations and Maintenance Section in Huntsville, Alabama.

Requirements

Qualifications

To qualify for 14, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-13. This is a non-bargaining unit position. Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume. Examples of specialized experience include: Evaluating policies and procedures, implementing programs, and independently making decisions relating to the operation and maintenance of buildings and leased space; AND Analyzing the effectiveness of facility operations; AND Overseeing a team of building managers; AND Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with customers, lessors, contractors, and stakeholders; AND Managing and monitoring real property budgetary and financial data. Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP). Provides eligible displaced Federal competitive service employees with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies.
