This position is located in the Division of Resolutions and Receiverships, HQ or Dallas, TX of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support by managing a portfolio of software applications and ensures IT capabilities align with current and future business requirements.

Duties
Provides technical expertise in the development, implementation, and maintenance of automated tools, applications, and systems to include but are not limited to: Microsoft Power Platform (MPP), Salesforce, Appian, ServiceNow, and Oracle APEX.
Supports project teams through all phases of the system development life cycle from project initiation to implementation and maintenance.
Develops, plans, policies, guidance, procedures, standards, infrastructures, and/or architectures that establish the framework for the management of IT programs in an organization.
Serves as a Project Manager, Business Analyst, and Information Technology (IT) Specialist supporting the ongoing maintenance of business applications and IT programs.
Manages a portfolio of software applications and ensures IT capabilities align with client’s current and future business requirements.
Collaborates with key stakeholders and product managers to document and prioritize requirements and develop business cases for application initiatives or major enhancements.
Leads application maintenance projects and IT programs utilizing modern project management best practices and principles. Creates, maintains, and reviews project management documents and deliverables.
Assists clients in identifying, analyzing, and prioritizing IT requests based on value and impact to business operations.
Designs business solutions of varying size and complexity to deliver systems and services and related matters and initiatives to management.
Assists clients with applications issues including troubleshooting, documentation, training, data analysis, and reporting support.
Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG/GS-12 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience designing and developing custom applications and automation tools for clients using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Dataverse); analyzing business processes to include: documenting business requirement documents (BRDs), and recommending solutions to improve or automate business operations; and supporting users through data analysis, system testing, training, and/or administrative support.
