The incumbent in this position serves as the Deputy Division Director for the Infrastructure Policy and Control Division (NA- 912), leading and managing NNSA's long-term infrastructure planning, program requirements, systems analysis, and policy development/analyses. This position provides the centralized planning and programming to ensure NNSA's infrastructure is sustainable, effective, and efficient to safely meet Enterprise needs.

Duties

As a Program Analyst (Deputy Division Director) (Deputy Division Director) you will: Ensure a sustainable capability to execute mission objectives now and in the future by balancing near-term operational needs and longer-term capability requirements related to recapitalization and modernization of the NNSA infrastructure Lead key aspects of enterprise acquisition strategy development regarding infrastructure operation, maintenance, and modernization. Oversee, and evaluates overall work accomplishment of staff. Reviews projects, reports, group, and individual performance for consistency with policies, regulations, adequacy, timeliness, and effective utilization of resources. Manages the development of policy and directs the implementation of DOE/NNSA decision regarding infrastructure operation, maintenance, and modernization.

Qualifications

A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower NNSA pay band level or GS grade level in the Federal Service, i.e., EN/NN/NQ-04 or GS-13. Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience serving as a senior authority and advisor; leading all efforts to develop and manage infrastructure long-term planning activities for office and lab space needs associate with meeting mission requirements. Examples of Specialized Experience: 1. Develop strategies for improvement of a complex infrastructure line-item planning process. 2. Lead working groups, task forces, or ad hoc groups in development and review of information management and usability.
