Duties
You will be responsible for providing program and project management support, internal and external, to the Director, Program Manager (DPM/PM) and senior program analyst, as well as the leadership in Installations and Logistics.
You will provide technical expertise in ensuring oversight and successful management of the USMC $2.4B Regional Garrison Food Service Contracts within CONUS.
You will include planning and developing program analysis procedures and interpreting DoD Acquisition of Services directives for applicability in the operation of the program mission.
You will identify and recommend ways to improve garrison food service, contracting process, pre-award and solicitation evaluation and award and contract administration.
You will provide advice, assistance, and guidance on immediate and long-range financial impact of proposals and performs cost benefit analysis involving special studies of contractor’s proposed price proposals.
You will determine immediate and long-term financial impact of proposals and performs cost benefit analysis as required.
You will review contract specifications for compatibility with the administration of quality assurance methods and procedures; prepares quality assurance plans.

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current Program Management/COR certification.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conducting long range planning, programming, acquisition of services AND providing analysis, evaluation, and recommendations in support of program/project management execution processes.
