Duties

You will assist the Program Office with advice and guidance on all business areas for their assigned programs, projects, and/or initiatives. You will provide business and financial management support, program evaluation and management expertise to the Program Office. You will oversee budget execution plans. You will review and release Program office level financial documents, including contract agreements and task statements.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
• Generally, current Federal employees applying to APS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. All qualifications and pay band requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement and documented in your resume.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band DP-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector with planning, programming, budget and execution activities to include program objective memorandum development, budget preparation, execution, financial reconciliation, and analysis; AND business financial management expertise in program evaluation as well as overseeing business portions of acquisition documentation.
