You will serve as a SECRETARY (OA) in the COLLEGE OF SECURITY STUDIES, IN THE DEAN'S OFFICE of DDHBAP ASIA PACIFIC CENTER FOR SECURITY STUDIES.
Duties
You will serve as the Dean's principal coordination hub for scheduling interactions with other Center of Executive Leadership Team members.
You will manage the Dean's Day to day schedule, set up and de-conflict calendar appointments, schedule meetings and communicate meeting objectives.
You will manage visitors, telephone calls, and email correspondence and direct the initiators to appropriate staff members.
You will receive correspondence, acknowledge receipt, screen and sort by priority and deadline.
You will type letters, memorandums, reports, notes, speeches and other correspondence.
You will take and transcribe notes of meetings and telephone conversations involving both technical and specialized terms.
You will manage the Dean's official travel including transportation, lodging, official travel clearance, and all travel arrangements.
You will manage classified materials and/or matters of confidentiality and sensitivity.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: schedule and maintains electronic calendar, manages visitors, telephone calls, and emails. Drafts and/or reviews correspondence and directives for a department.
This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
