About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence - G33 at Fort Eisenhower, Georgia.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive functional and operational analyses of all directives, requirements, projects, and events utilizing the military decision making model and other organizational tools
Negotiate prepotency issues when ownership is difficult to define or cross staff lines when making assignments on behalf of the G-33 Operations Officer.
Coordinate short and long-range event calendars, collect, coordinate, update and disseminate current information on CYBERCOE-wide issues and special events.
Writes Operations Orders (OPORDS) and Fragmentary Orders (FRAGOS), and Tasking Orders (TASKORDS), as needed.
Maintains emergency recall rosters and procedures for use during emergency situations and/or recalls.
Represents the command in emergency management planning sessions with functional members of his staff and a variety of federal, state, local and installation agencies.
Maintain operational oversight and planning responsibility for programs internal to the G-3 section and select programs that encompass the CYBERCoE.
Perform mission analysis and facilitate decision making process to develop courses of action for directed CYBERCoE events.
Establish and maintain regular communications with the contracting officer (KO).
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Must possess an active SECRET security clearance.
- Nature of position requires unannounced duty schedule changes as well as lengthened duty days, to include possible weekend work to accommodate civilian/military executive travel departures/arrivals and opening/closing of the facility.
- May be required to operate a motor vehicle in connection with executing duties of the position.
- he duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one-year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by 1) Coordinating mission support operations and directives from various military personnel to ensure mission success within the organization 2) Overseeing maintenance of suspense tracking systems to guarantee effective processing of classified and unclassified communications, 3) Maintaining planning responsibility for internal programs within an organization, and 4) Providing support to an organization to ensure events and other meetings are carried out.
