About the Position: You will serve as staff analyst to Public Works (PW) management and workflow processes, resource programming, allocation, and management systems processes.

Duties

Coordinates across the Command on Public Works system requirements. Participates in the preparation and briefings to Army leadership in support of IMCOM Public Works manpower and funding requirements. Participates in staff assistance visits and provides performance oversight of Facilities and Logistics processes at installations. Provides analyst expertise in the development and review of complex resource modeling and productivity improvement initiatives.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes: Participating in the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) process and coordinating across the Command on Public Works requirements. Experience managing multiple MDEPs (Management Decision Execution Packages) to execute funding and annual work plans. Experience negotiating with high level Army leadership and officials involving budgeting and funding and funding execution. Evaluating Public Works performance metrics, analyzing performance indicators, and determining appropriate funding allocation levels and manpower resources for Public Works services by installations. Planning, conducting, or participating in studies of public works organizations to validate essential business operations processes performed, evaluating the preparation of public works (PW) Annual Work Plans, and the establishment of sound reimbursable programs. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
