You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER of NAS CORPUS CHRISTI.

Duties

You will advise senior leaders on impact of changes to administrative programs. You will formulate budget requests to align with administrative support needs. You will advise managers on human resources performance management processes. You will develop plans and objectives to administer budget, procurement processes, or manpower. You will analyze a program’s use of resources to improve administrative operations. You will oversee personnel award submissions and military evaluations and fitness reports for completeness and accuracy.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Exercising management principles and practices regarding all facets of administrative programs; 2) Providing administrative services and procedures such as forms management, files, directives and correspondence management, records management, office equipment and supplies; 3) Monitoring/executing financial and budgetary transactions to ensure adequate control of funds; 4) Managing administrative program reports; 5) Directing support services functions that include Awards (military and civilian), Personnel Performance Evaluations, Check In/Out procedures, Collateral Duties, and Transaction Online Processing System (TOPS) Management; 6) Providing oversight to the Command Personnel/Information Security Program. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
Have successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
OR
Have successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled
OR
Have a combination of experience and education that equates to one year of experience. Percentage of education plus percentage of experience must equal 100%
